My name is Lori Kelly. I am a wife, mother of 6, and Mimi to 3 (in August it will be 4).  I am currently working on my doctorate in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum with a focus on Early Childhood. My area of interest is Hispanic dual language learners (DLLs).  These are young children who are learning two languages at the same time.

I am currently working on a Graduate Certificate program–Comunication, Culture, and Pedagogy for Hispanic Populations in English Settings. I have one last piece to complete–it is the immersion aspect. I am going to Puebla, Mexico for a month to learn about the culture and work on my Spanish.   The purpose of my blog is to document my experiences while in Mexico.
